TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE PURCHASE
1.General
1.1. In these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), "AESL" or “we”or “us” means Associated Environmental Systems Limited (registered at Unit 1221-1223, 12/F, Metro Centre II, 21 Lam Hing Street, Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong) and its affiliated companies and the "customer" or “you” means any person, firm, company or body which places an order with us. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website or other websites we are linked to (“our e-store”). By placing an order using or through our e-store or any part of it, you agree that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them. Please do not place an order if you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions.
1.2. We shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that prices, details and sizes of products at our e-store are up-to-date. Prices are subject to change from time to time without prior notice. All prices displayed for the products on our e-store are exclusive of delivery charges. Please refer to the relevant delivery charges for each order.
1.3 Information specified herein and details on our e-store shall not constitute an offer, but an invitation to treat. Any contract between you and us in respect of any goods shall only come into effect after your order has been accepted by us. All orders are subject to our acceptance at our sole discretion and stock availability. The contract between both parties for the purchase of goods will take effect only after we have sent you a “Delivery Confirmation”.
1.4. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods from our e-store and/or remove or edit any materials or content on our e-store at any time. All orders are subject to confirmation of final availability and we reserve the right to not accept any order in the event that any of the products or services requested are unavailable. If we did not accept your order but the payment has already been deducted from your account, the payment will be fully refunded. We will not be liable to you or any other third party for our withdrawal of any goods from our e-store (whether it has been sold or not),removal or editing of any content on our e-store, or refusal to process or accept an order after we have sent you an “Order Confirmation”.
1.5 Photographs of the products are provided for reference only. Exact appearances(such as colour and packaging) of the actual products may differ.
1.6 You promise to provide us with accurate email and postal addresses and/or other contact information, and confirm that we can contact you using such information when necessary. We will be unable to complete your order if you fail to provide us with all necessary information. By placing an order with the Website, you warrant that you have reached the legal age specified by laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and are legally capable of signing a binding agreement, and that you are fully responsible for the authenticity of all information in your order.
2.Privacy protection
2.1. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of individuals with respect to personal data. We therefore make sure that our policies and practices in relation to the collection, use, retention, transfer and access of personal data comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance(Chapter 486) under the laws of Hong Kong.
3. Payment
3.1. Our e-store accepts payment by designated credit cards, debit cards or other designated electronic means as specified by us. All product prices listed are in Hong Kong dollars. The applicable price shall be the price listed in our e-store as at the time of purchase.
3.2.Acceptance of orders is subject to our sole discretion. A delivery note will be issued to you when goods are delivered to your address, or goods are collected at our office.
4.Others
4.1.Basis of supply: we only serve and deliver products to end consumers. We are not selling our products for re-sell purpose. If we have grounds to believe that you are not purchasing our products as an end user, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your order.
4.2.Force majeure: We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by or resulting from any acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot, war,government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond our control.
4.3. You shall not assign, novate or otherwise transfer any of your rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any other third party without our prior written consent.
4.4. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be construed to be illegal or invalid, they shall be removed from these terms and it shall not affect the legality, validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
4.5.These Terms and Conditions embody the entire agreement between the parties and they supersede all previous negotiations, representations and agreement between the parties.
4.6. We have the right to revise or amend all or any of the provisions under these Terms and Conditions, at any time without prior notice. Our revisions and amendments of these Terms and Conditions will come into effect automatically after they have been published on our website.
4.7. If any dispute arises, our determination shall be final.
4.8 Where these Terms and Conditions are available in other languages, the English version is the governing version and shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between different versions.
4.9.These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and AESL and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
5. Delivery service
5.1 You agree to appoint our contracted courier as your agent to collect and deliver the ordered goods on your behalf to the designated delivery address. We suggest SF Express Co., Ltd. or FedEx Co., Ltd. or its affiliated companies to provide delivery services according to the wishes of customers. For the delivery service scope , charges and terms and conditions of each contracted courier,please refer to the relevant companies or the following webpage, AESL is not involved in any way or form.

5.2. If you elect to collect your purchased item(s) personally, please contact our office within 3 days from the designated date of collection to arrange a collection time at our office during the specified business hours.
5.3.When you pick up your order(s) from our office, you or your authorized representative will be required to show the invoice for verification purposes. We may require you or your authorized representative to provide further information for identity verification purposes (such as full name or other personal information under your account profile). If we are not satisfied that the person requesting to collect your order(s) is yourself or your authorized representative, we have the right to refuse the collection of the order(s) in order to safeguard your interest.
5.4. Customers that request for international shipment are responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination and may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the customers; AESL has no control over these charges, nor can AESL predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it may cause delays beyond the original delivery estimates. AESL will not be responsible for any such delays caused.
6.Exchange and refund
6.1. For products purchased which are damaged, faulty or are otherwise defective or inconsistent with the provisions in the contract of purchase, please contact our staff promptly to provide details of the goods and the defect and to make arrangement to return the goods for inspection (if required). For products with electronic components, please refer to the “Warranty Card” that accompanies each order.
Upon receipt of the goods returned by you, we will inspect it thoroughly and notify you whether you are entitled to a replacement or refund (if any) within a reasonable period. AESL has the absolute discretion to elect whether to repair or replace any defective products.
6.2 Any customer seeking any product repair or replacement must provide the original copies of (1) the “Warranty Card” and (2) the product invoice or relevant electronic receipt.
6.3. All gift items which accompanied the original purchased product(s) must be returned together with the returned product(s).
6.4 The provisions hereof will not affect your legal rights under any laws and regulations in force.
7. Warranty and Aftersales Services
71. All warranty and aftersales services are available from designated service centers only
7.2 For overseas customers, items requiring warranty or aftersales services must be delivered to the designated service centers. Customers will also need to arrange collection from the service center after servicing.

8.Others
8.1.Title to the product shall remain vested in us until we receive full payment of the price. Title and risk shall pass to the customer upon collection of the product by the relevant delivery channel.
8.2. We shall under no circumstances be liable for any loss (whether direct or indirect) of revenue, loss of profits or any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever suffered, sustained or incurred by you or by other person arising(directly or indirectly) out of the sale and purchase transaction with you.
